When do you need it?
If you want to know what is going on with your models in your Rails – you definitely had to use acts_as_protocolable. How to use it? Look over next chapter.
How to install and use
Install a gem.
sudo gem install acts_as_protocolable
Generate migration and run it.
./script/generate acts_as_protocolable_migration
bc. rake db:migrate
# config/environment.rb
config.gem 'acts_as_protocolable'
# app/controllers/admin/admin_controller.rb_
class Admin::AdminController < ApplicationController
