Booky
Booky is a real alternative to latex when it comes to document creation. It uses an enhanced version of textile to create the content
and converts it to a PDF using pure-ruby with the help of the rubygem prawn
.

Demos:
Install
gem install booky
Usage
Create a plain textile file, e.g. sample.textile
and run:
booky create sample
