Compass Themes
Compass Themes is a theme system using the compass framework
The goal of compass themes is to provide an out of the box solution for basic design templates for your applications.
No more small applications without designs!
Rails 3 is only supported at the moment but rake tasks are on there way for other setups
Usage
For now until I'm ready to release a version in your Gemfile gem 'compass-themes', '~> 0.0.1'
rake compass:themes
will list all themes available
To Install a theme
rails g compass_theme
Contributing to Compass Themes
- Check out the latest master to make sure the feature hasn't been implemented or the bug hasn't been fixed yet
- Check out the issue tracker to make sure someone already hasn't requested it and/or contributed it
- Fork the project
- Start a feature/bugfix branch
- Commit and push until you are happy with your contribution
- Make sure to add tests for it. This is important so I don't break it in a future version unintentionally.
- Please try not to mess with the Rakefile, version, or history. If you want to have your own version, or is otherwise necessary, that is fine, but please isolate to its own commit so I can cherry-pick around it.
Creating Themes
- Themes consist of a haml layout file in
lib/compass-themes/templates/
- Sass or Scss for a layout is stored in
lib/compass-themes/stylesheets/<layout>/<theme name>.theme.s(css|ass)/
- Stylesheets that are not the base stylesheet for a theme need to be have the suffix
theme.scss
in order to be seen by the installation tools - Its perfectly ok to have one stylesheet per layout
