msgpack-coder

Use MessagePack for ActiveRecord serialization.

Tired of using slow YAML? Serialized data is not valid JSON? Fear not more: Use msgpack-coder!

msgpack-coder uses MessagePack for serialization. It's way faster than YAML (binary libs) and much more useable than JSON!

Installation & Usage

Super simple, just two lines!

In your Gemfile add this line:

gem 'msgpack-coder', require: 'message_pack'

Your model gets the other line:

serialize :attribute, MessagePack

Really, that's it!
