Overload

Allows instance methods to be overloaded. Also functions with inheritance. Methods defined twice with the same argument requirements after overload will use the last defined method definition.

This gem is not intended for serious use.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'overload'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install overload

Usage

Extend the module

extend Overload

Then declare your overloaded methods

overload :foo
overload :bar, :baz, :bam

Methods will be selected according to which has the most appropriate arity.

Contributing
