ValidatorsAppRuby
This gem helps to utilize the validators.app API.
Installation
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'validators_app_ruby'
And then execute:
$ bundle install
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install validators-app-ruby
Usage
Please note that in order to use this client, you need to obtain the api token from https://validators.app.
Full api documentation is available on https://www.validators.app/api-documentation.
If you want to use any of the api method just create a new ValidatorsAppRuby object providing your api token as follows:
client = ValidatorsAppRuby.new(token: "your_api_token")
then you can use any endpoint as follows:
client.<post || get>_<endpoint_path>(params)
Example:

Development
After checking out the repo, run bin/setup
to install dependencies. Then, run rake test
to run the tests. You can also run bin/console
for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install
. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb
, and then run bundle exec rake release
, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and the created tag, and push the .gem
file to rubygems.org.
