Ruby REST API to Process PDF in Cloud
Aspose.PDF Cloud is a true REST API that enables you to perform a wide range of document processing operations including creation, manipulation, conversion and rendering of PDF documents in the cloud.
Our Cloud SDKs are wrappers around REST API in various programming languages, allowing you to process documents in language of your choice quickly and easily, gaining all benefits of strong types and IDE highlights. This repository contains new generation SDKs for Aspose.PDF Cloud and examples.

Enhancements in Version 24.10
- Develop a method to add XMP metadata.

Installation
Build a gem
To build the Ruby code into a gem:
gem build aspose_pdf_cloud.gemspec
Then either install the gem locally:
gem install ./aspose_pdf_cloud-24.10.0.gem
(for development, run gem install --dev ./aspose_pdf_cloud-24.10.0.gem
to install the development dependencies)
or publish the gem to a gem hosting service, e.g. RubyGems.
Finally add this to the Gemfile:
gem 'aspose_pdf_cloud', '~> 24.10.0'
Install from Git
The Ruby gem is hosted at a git repository: https://github.com/aspose-pdf-cloud/aspose-pdf-cloud-ruby . Add the following in the Gemfile:
gem 'aspose_pdf_cloud', :git => 'https://github.com/aspose-pdf-cloud/aspose-pdf-cloud-ruby.git'

SelfHost Aspose.PDF Cloud
Create PdfApi object without app_key and app_sid parameters, but with host parameter set to url of SelfHost Aspose.PDF Cloud and self_host parameter set to true:

Unit Tests
Aspose PDF SDK includes a suite of unit tests within the "test" subdirectory. These Unit Tests also serves as examples of how to use the Aspose PDF SDK.
