Introduction

Makes a tumblr tumblelog act like an ActiveResource.

Features/Problems:

• Only supports /api/read (without parameters) at www.rumblr.com/api#api_read

Install

gem sources -a http://gems.github.com
sudo gem install hsume2-rumblr

Usage

After installing the gem, run

script/generate rumblr RumblrName

in the rails root, where RumblrName is the fully-qualified url to the tumblelog. Then in your app you can call Rumblr::Post.all just like you would an ActiveRecord.

For example,

recent = Rumblr::Post.all
most_recent = recent.first

Then we can do

most_recent.url
most_recent.regular_body

most_recent.post_type # instead of most_recent.type to avoid conflict with Rails
