Kaseifu

Add useful helper methods to your Rails APP.

kaseifu works on ruby 2.1 or higher.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'kaseifu'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install kaseifu

Usage

render_if_present

Render partial if the given method is present as the receiver's method.

For example, something like

<%= render_if_present :shop_image_path, in: @shop %>

same as

<% if @shop.shop_image_path.present? %>
  <%= render 'shop_image_path', locals: { shop_image_path: @shop.shop_image_path } %>
<% end %>

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release to create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
