Overview

Any locally-detected problem with the caller's input, before or instead of a request.

The FA(3) validator (DESIGN.md §7.7) is the largest source, but not the only one, and an earlier version of this comment said "never by the transport layer" — which this gem then made false. It is also raised for a malformed KSeF number, a session or invoice reference that could alter a URL path, a challenge in the wrong format, a missing KSeF token, an unknown form code, and a malformed UPO download URL. Seventeen files raise it.

So rescue it as "something I passed in is wrong", not as "my invoice is schema-invalid".
