Moodwall: A simple CLI tool aimed to help manage wallpapers.

Installation

Install it yourself as:

$ gem install moodwall

Configuration

Create a config.yml file at ~/.config/moodwall/config.yml and specify command to change wallpaper in your distro. Here is defaults:

Usage examples

moodwall -a -m Winter

<!-- Then you should be able to add wallpapers -->

moodwall -a -w ~/Pictures/wallpaper/mountains.jpeg -m Winter

moodwall -c -w or simply moodwall, since its a default option.

moodwall -c -m Winter

moodwall -l -m

moodwall -l -w

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
