RequireColumns

Make sure your ActiveRecord models have specific columns.

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'require_columns'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install require_columns

Usage

class Baz < ActiveRecord::Base  
    require_columns :foo, :bar
    # ...
end

baz = Baz.create
baz.errors[:base] #=> "missing columns: foo, bar"
