Overview

Checks that the backslash of a line continuation is separated from preceding text by exactly one space (default) or zero spaces.

Examples:

EnforcedStyle: space (default)

# bad
'a'\

'c'

# good

'c'

EnforcedStyle: no_space

# bad
'a' \
'b'  \
'c'

# good
'a'\
'b'\
'c'
