Examples:

DowncaseFilter.call("NOTHING ELSE MATTERS") #=> "nothing else matters"

Using as ActiveRecord::Base normalizer

normalize :attribute_a, :with => :downcase
normalize :attribute_b, :with => [:custom_filter, :downcase]
