.new(root, path, query = {}) ⇒ Object

Create a new URI, relative to the specified root.

Parameters:

  • root (URI::Common) —

    is the uri that you want to use as the base

  • path (String) —

    is the sub-path to add

  • query (Hash) (defaults to: {}) —

    is a Hash of key-values to add to the query string.
